“I also understood that in order to fight the academic tendencies of the day, we would have to strive to apply biblical truth in all disciplines. In order to accomplish this goal, two things had to happen: first, the college needed to focus not only on Bible training, but also on a well-rounded liberal arts education; second, the name needed to change so that what we were building would be bigger and broader than the school’s past.
